Abstract

In this paper, Modified Variational Iteration Method is used to solve some nonlinear Volterra Integro-Differential equations of the second kind. With illustrative examples, the method provides a sequence of functions which converges to the exact solution of the problem by using three iterative steps without discretization of the variables. Comparison of the approximate solutions of this method with other methods shows that Modified Variational Iteration scheme is very effective, accurate, more promising and readily implemented.
